Namely, wallets holding between 100 million and 1 billion XRP have amassed an additional 900 million XRP, worth over $2.88 billion, in just 48 hours, as reported by analyst Ali Martinez. Whales dominate Plasma launch

The launch of Plasma’s initial coin offering (ICO) has been accused of being dominated by a small number of whales. Plasma’s ICO is a little different from older ICOs, with the initial sale allowing you to purchase “units,” which “determine your guaranteed option to purchase XPL.” Plasma advertises itself as “a high-throughput, scalable blockchain purpose-built for stablecoins.” Its ICO was launched earlier today, June 9, with an initial deposit cap of $250 million and a $50 million cap per wallet . Its deposit vaults were filled mere moments later. plasma deposit cap hit in 45 seconds very cool how they had a $250mm deposit cap with an individual wallet cap of $50mm really fair definitely not a scam where all capacity was taken by justin sun on 5 separate wallets retarded lmaooo pic.twitter.com/87QLVs3Rdo — kook ️ (@KookCapitalLLC) June 9, 2025 Read more: What are Ethereum roll-ups and why do they matter? ...

The latest XRP derivatives data is pointing to a rise in bearish sentiment. In particular, data retrieved by Finbold from cryptocurrency analytics platform CoinGlass shows that the token’s long/short ratio has fallen to 0.7797 at the time of writing on April 18.  In other words, 56.19% of the XRP positions opened within the last 12 hours have been shorts against the token. XRP long-short ratio chart. Source: CoinGlass This represents a significant bearish surge, as the preceding 12-hour period saw XRP shorts account for 51.55% of opened positions. Notably, this is the lowest and most bearish long/short ratio XRP has seen since the beginning of April. Recent price action points to XRP’s resilience Interestingly enough, price action does not correspond to this apparent bout of pessimism on the account of derivatives traders. At press time, XRP was changing hands at $2.08. A 1.36% loss on the daily chart has brought weekly gains down to 4.07%. Despite fa...

If you invested $1,000 in XRP at the start of 2025; Here’s how much you’d have now

Image
A $1,000 investment in XRP made on January 1 would have been quite well-timed. While numerous legal experts were concerned that a protracted case could serve to diminish XRP’s appeal in lieu of other cryptocurrencies, the longstanding legal battle finally came to a close when the case was dropped on March 19, as revealed by an X post from Ripple Labs chief executive officer (CEO) Brad Garlinghouse. This is it – the moment we’ve been waiting for. The SEC will drop its appeal – a resounding victory for Ripple, for crypto, every way you look at it. While this was happening, XRP whales proved quite willing to make significant investments at key support levels, helping to absorb the 200 million token March unlock which could have otherwise placed downward pressure on the digital asset’s price. Picks for you XRP adds $100 billion to its market...

Wall Street Pepe Presale Zooms Past $25.8M In 12 Days As Whales Dive In – Will It 1,900,000x Like $PEPE?

Image
The Wall Street Pepe ($WEPE) presale is skyrocketing, with funds raised soaring past $25.8 million in just 12 short days, cementing its position as the standout meme coin ICO in the market right now.  From a hot first day of presale that quickly raised $400,000, early investors of this latest Pepe token have upped the ante, causing capital inflows to explode 64x. This makes a genuine case for Wall Street Pepe as the meme coin to take the spotlight away from the currently leading frog coin, Pepe ($PEPE). Due to the manic interest in its ICO, Wall Street Pepe is showing the hallmarks of surpassing the returns of an investor who reportedly made $52 million from a mere $27 investment in Pepe ($PEPE). Of course, the only way to do so is to get $WEPE at its lowest possible price, which is likely its current presale price of $0.0003645 per token. There are about 23 hours left, though, and the price will climb higher to start the next funding stage. How...
