Polymarket is weighing new financing at a valuation as high as $10 billion alongside plans for a relaunch in the US, while competitor Kalshi is nearing a $5 billion fundraising. According to a report by Business Insider that cited sources familiar with the matter,  Polymarket has considered one offer that would value the company at $9 billion, and another that “offered a term sheet valuing Polymarket as high as $10 billion.” That would be a huge jump in valuation for the company, which raised funding at a $1 billion valuation early in the summer, the article said. Polymarket raised $200 million in June, led by Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund, the venture firm that was an early backer of projects such as OpenAI, Paxos and Palantir. Bitcoin: Standard Chartered Says BTC Can Hit $130,000 by March

Bitcoin may be on its way to a $130,000 valuation by this March, according to analysts from Standard Chartered Bank. According to the bank’s analysts, institutional inflows accelerate and market sentiment shifts could trigger a breakout for the leading cryptocurrency. Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick paints a bullish picture for BTC in the coming weeks. The Standard Chartered head of digital assets research sees bitcoin gaining further momentum down the road a recent leveraged position reset and ongoing developments such as Trump’s crypto-related executive order. Looking ahead, Kendrick cites the Fed’s decision to leave interest rates unchanged as a positive sign for BTC. While macroeconomic risks still remain, Kendrick noted that the Fed’s stance reduces immediate uncertainty.
